It was a picture perfect calm, warm sunny afternoon ready for 15 Active Divers dipping into Islamorada's aqua blue 88 degree water for a fantastic afternoon of diving.
Dive 1 - Rocky Top - this lovely shallow dive site offered colorful coral and abundant marine life including lobsters, many colorful tropical fish and a beautiful green sea turtle that delighted our divers. But the best part of all was a massive ball of fish very near the boat toward the end of the dive. In fact it was one of the largest I had ever seen! It was the perfect way to end a fantastic dive.
Dive 2 - Morada Reef - we found the best part of this reef toward the end of this dive and were met with lovely schools of tropical fish including an extremely large porcupine pufferfish.
It was a special treat to be joined by Active Divers founder and Keys resident Lee Wood to remind us all to never stop diving and that there are always adventures awaiting us under the sea.
