Six active divers got up extra early on Sunday to drive to the Keys to join Conch Republic divers to experience the Eagle wreck not once but twice.

Dive 140 relaxing minutes from dock to mooring ball gave us plenty of time to study the wreck and decide where we would go. We splashed in still, clear, 85 degree water and enjoyed an easy pull down to the wreck. Jean had fun with a school of spade fish, and Leah made buddies with a bashful moray.

Dive 2: After gassing off for 45 minutes we pulled down the ropes again. This time, there was more current and vis was a little off. We all made the most of it by staying in the shadow of the wreck, avoiding the worst of the current. Pam and Dan enjoyed the many swim throughs, again avoiding the increased current outside.
