Dive 1 Copenhagen WreckDepth 30’, water temperature 79F, winds E 9kts, waves 1-2’, vis 30’, very slight north current. A very nice mooring dive from the boat and a short swim to the eastern side of the Pompano Drop Off to the wreck of the Copenhagen. The SS Copenhagen was a steamer 325' long with a beam of 47' built in 1898 and sunk in 1900.  Swimming south along the wreck we saw many fan and other reef coral. We also saw scorpion fish and a white spotted file fish.  After taking pictures of the marker and the anchor, we headed back and saw a large moray eel hiding under what was the keel of the ship along with many reef fish.

Dive 2 Drift Dive “Nursery”Depth 23’, water temperature 79F, winds E 9kts, waves 1-2’, vis 30-35’, very slight north current. Gently drifting north along the ledge, the lobsters were lined up waiting for us to pass by.  Divers spotted at least five lobsters with one very large one.  Divers also spotted plenty of wrasses, lionfish, file fish, and many other reef fish.  It was sunny and the reef coral, especially the fan coral was colorful at shallow depths. Also, two flamingo tongues were spotted on one of the fans.  An enjoyable dive.
